Large country garden
This 50mx23m garden stretches down to the river and offers views onto the borrowed landscape beyond. The design includes a gazebo near the river where the clients can relax over a drink on summer evenings, as well as two dining areas near the house - a large one for 12 dinner guests, and a small one near the kitchen where the family can have supper together. A lawn, a wildflower meadow and a pergola walkway complete the design. Plants were chosen for year-round interest in the main garden, and also for the boggy land contained by the dashed line where the land slopes down towards the river.
